Day Trip to Ourika Valley : Program

We spent a very good and unforgettable day trip in Ourika Valley. Don't forget to provide some sport shoes for climbing the waterfalls.

“A really good experience - you see how berber life and good nature” It's a great tour! It's 8-9 hours tour but you see a lot. Go to an argan farm, what is interresting, see how berber live - go into a house, and last but not least the waterfall. It's also a great trip to escape the summer heat. You driver was really nice and kind and the guide mohamet was amazing. The tour the hill can be a bit hart, but he was helping everybody and looking after them. You have the stunning few. And you eat in a berbervillage for lunch what was good after the hike. A really enjoy the trip anf it's super cheap. Thanks!

It was a great experience. A nice guide/driver who explained a lot along the way. It was a nice day being away from the city and learn more about the traditional culture and enjoy the beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains. We can definitely recommend it! :)

“Great!” Loved it. Wear hiking boots or trainers. Take water. Driver willing to stop for photos. Guide went at a quick pace which was good for us. Be prepared for a rocky climb and descent. Goes to the opposite side of the river to view the falls. Would of been good to also go to the bottom of the falls and see the monkeys.

Very nice tour, we were picked up at the right time and were back when we were supposed to. Scenic views and nice stops along the way, especially the visit to the women’s Argan oil cooperative. There was some confusion around the walking part of the tour. It’s a hike, partly a climb even, on narrow and steep way to the water fall. Don’t misunderstand, it’s a great hike with a nice guide- just make sure to wear appropriate footwear and be prepared for 1,5 +/- hrs of hiking. There are optional camel back rides, but the camels get whipped and are clearly not being treated good enough. So skip this part. Otherwise, a great day!

"Nice trip to the Atlas Mountains" This has been a wonderful day! The excursion through the Atlas mountains was very nice, but the ascent to the waterfall was very difficult. This part is not for older people.

"Great Tour. I recommend it!" Very well organized, very beautiful landscape and great value for money, since lunch is included in the tour. Excellent choice for a day trip out of Marrakech.

“Fantastic day!” Our trip was pretty well organised. We drove in a comfortable van to pick up other members of our group (6 of us were on the tour together). On our way to the valley there were lots of interesting stop-offs where we were able to see different bits of culture and take photos. This made the drive go very quickly. The walk itself was amazing - a bit tricky under foot at times but our guide was very experienced and was able to give us a leg up when needed! We saw monkeys from our lunch spot - we got a 3 course lunch included in the price and only had to pay for our drinks. There was an additional 5 dirham fee for our tour guide - this is the only additional fee that we were not made aware of beforehand. Overall a really wonderful day - highly recommended!!
