Okaimeden is located at only 74 km from Marrakech and considered as the first ski resort in Morocco and Africa.

Oukaimeden is a favorite destination for Skiers and fans of Mountain Skiing and Snowboarding. This excursion is a real opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the magic landscapes of Atlas Mountains and to discover the authenticity of Berber villages as well as the simple and amazing life of the locals, known for their sympathy and generosity.

As soon as you arrive at the ski resort, you will have a free half day, you can rent skis, snowboards and use the ski lifts to get to the top of the resort and start your adventure on the beautiful slopes of the resort.

Practical Information :

• The ski season starts from the beginning of December until mid-April.
• The resort has several slopes and different itineraries.
• A ski chairlift and 5 ski lifts are available on site.

Optional: Lunch in a magnificent boat-shaped restaurant with an altitude of 1600 m offering the best moroccan traditional dishes in this region.

NB: Please note that the road to Oukaimeden receives a huge traffic in winter which may cause several stops along the way.
